BIO

Eolo Perfido (b. 1972, Cognac, France) is an acclaimed portrait photographer whose versatile studio specializes in advertising, editorial, and fine art photography. His illustrious career has seen collaborations with world-renowned communication agencies, including Leo Burnett, United 1861, Gray, Saatchi & Saatchi, JWT, DDBI, and BBDO.

Perfido's work has graced the pages of prestigious publications such as The New York Times, Communication Arts, L'Espresso, Panorama First, Vision, Vogue Russia, and GQ Russia. His impressive client roster boasts industry giants like Pepsi Cola, Samsung, Sky Television, Adidas, Opel Motors, Kraft, Gatorade, Symantec, AC Milan, Breil, Oxydo, and Medusa Cinema.

Early in his career, Perfido had the privilege of assisting legendary photographer Steve McCurry, a collaboration that has evolved into numerous joint assignments worldwide. He also gained invaluable experience assisting renowned photographers Eugene Richards, Elliott Erwitt, and James Natchwey on various projects.

For over a decade, Perfido has been dedicated to photographic education, conducting workshops on portraiture, street photography, and post-production across Italy and internationally. His expertise has been recognized by prestigious institutions: he served as a Leica Ambassador from 2013 to 2018 and is currently a Leica Certified photographer and professor of Street Photography at the esteemed Leica Akademie. Since 2021, he has also been an Profoto illuminati ambassador.

Perfido's academic contributions include teaching the Street Photography master's program at the European Institute of Design and photographic portraiture at the Roman Photography Center. He also lectures on Street Photography at Bocconi University in Milan.

As a member of the BPP commission, Germany's foremost association of portrait photographers, Perfido regularly participates in the Creative ProShow. In 2016, he founded Storm Studio, specializing in post-production, digital compositing, and 3D CGI.

Perfido's talent in Street Photography was recognized with the Luce Iblea award in 2019. He is represented globally by the Orion57 photo agency.
